After more than a year and a half of constant touring, Maroon 5 show no signs of slowing down and Line 6 plans on keeping up with them. Vocalist/guitarist Adam Levine and lead guitarist James Valentine both use DL4 Delay Modelers, with James stepping on a Tonecore Tap Tremolo as well. Handling keys and rhythm guitars, Jessie Carmichael is also using DL4 in addition to Tonecore Tap Tremolo and Space Chorus. |

The tap tempo feature of the ToneCore Delay pedal makes it really easy for notes on my Rhodes to bounce around exactly how I want them to. James and I also build loops as outros for certain songs on the DL4 units because there’s nothing cooler than two set rhythms fluctuating in and out of sync with each other. I can spend hours building guitar or piano loops using the half-time and reverse features. That moment of playing something fast while the loop is being recorded at half speed and then switching back to regular speed is always awesome. Sound is awesome. Loops are awesome. Line 6 pedals make loops of sound. Therefore Line 6 pedals are awesome. That’s the transitive property. I knew all that math in high school would pay off.
